As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a central role in evolving a platform designed to securely exchange sensitive data like identity proofs and insurance records. What You’ll Do
- Integrate AI tools into your daily workflow—use LLM-powered assistants to write, refactor, and test code, draft technical specs, and speed up debugging
- Design, implement, and deploy production features using Java and Python in a distributed, cloud-native environment
- Own features end to end, from initial implementation to deployment and monitoring in production
- Collaborate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and system design sessions with experienced peers
- Work closely with senior engineers who actively support your growth through pairing and feedback
- Solve complex technical challenges at the intersection of identity verification, data trust, and regulatory compliance
Who You Are
You have at least three years of professional experience building and maintaining systems that run in production. You're proficient in Java or Python and understand the nuances of writing reliable, testable code. You’ve experimented with AI coding tools—like Copilot, Cursor, or Claude—and are eager to deepen that experience.
You approach problems with curiosity, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate clearly in English—especially in asynchronous settings. You’re comfortable not having all the answers but are driven to find them.
Preferred Background
- Hands-on experience deploying LLM-powered features: prompt engineering, retrieval strategies, fallback logic, or evaluation frameworks
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure, particularly in microservices and API-first designs
- Background in startups or fast-moving environments where ownership and adaptability matter
- Interest in digital identity, data privacy, or compliance domains
- Exposure to Scala or functional programming concepts
