Lead the evolution of a high-impact health technology platform by designing robust, scalable systems that support critical patient outcomes. In this role, you'll drive architectural decisions that enhance performance, reliability, and developer efficiency across a distributed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize CI/CD workflows to enable seamless, automated deployments across multiple environments, ensuring consistent delivery across the entire application suite.
- Architect auto-scaling solutions on AWS ECS and EKS, balancing performance needs with cost efficiency during platform modernization.
- Design and deploy advanced task queueing systems that integrate smoothly with containerized services.
- Advance automated testing frameworks with the objective of achieving comprehensive code coverage across all components.
- Guide the transition from monolithic structures to a microservice architecture, using templated infrastructure to improve scalability and development velocity.
- Extend Kubernetes-based deployments using Argo CD or equivalent tools to manage data processing, API services, and reporting modules.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices and collaborative problem-solving.
- Work closely with product, QA, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into resilient technical solutions.
- Apply strategic thinking to system design, weighing trade-offs in time, resources, cost, and long-term maintainability.
- Prioritize initiatives effectively by leveraging deep understanding of product goals, client needs, and internal processes.
Required Expertise
- Proven track record in building and maintaining scalable, reliable platform architectures
- Hands-on experience improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Direct experience with AWS ECS/EKS for scalable cloud infrastructure
- Solid background in designing task queueing systems for asynchronous processing
- Experience implementing testing strategies aimed at full code coverage
- Successful delivery of microservice migrations with reusable infrastructure patterns
