Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services that support real-time balance tracking, fund reservations, and financial event processing, forming the trusted foundation for all financial operations.
- Take full ownership of significant system components, from initial design and implementation to deployment and ongoing reliability in production environments.
- Tackle complex challenges involving data consistency, low-latency responses, and system availability—ensuring write operations remain fast, event processors keep pace, and database bottlenecks are managed during traffic spikes.
- Refactor and modernize existing architecture to align with current business scale, including consolidating redundant systems, unifying financial data entry points, isolating failure zones, and enabling fast, safe recovery processes.
- Improve system quality and operational rigor through careful design choices, thorough code reviews, and a strong commitment to production stability.
- Support the growth of fellow engineers through collaborative coding, constructive feedback, and knowledge sharing, while also learning from team members.
- Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery and enhance code safety, integrating AI as a routine part of the engineering workflow.
