AnaVation is seeking a Senior Software Developer to create, test, and debug new software and enhance existing applications for a forensic and investigative ecosystem across multiple enterprise applications. You will operate in a multi-enclave environment, requiring a strong understanding of business, user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements.
What You'll Do
- Develop, test, and debug new software solutions and enhancements to existing applications
- Work with technical staff to understand and resolve software problems
- Resolve customer complaints and respond to suggestions for improvements
- Implement desktop design, testing, security lockdown, and integration with standard software packages
- Integrate with automated patching and deployment technologies
- Assist in the development of software user manuals
- Document applications, services, and environments for future maintenance
- Automate application and configuration deployments and updates
- Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
- Support the multi-enclave environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and ability to obtain a CI Poly
- Strong understanding of forensic and investigative data requirements
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing software solutions in secure government environments
- Experience with data processing, automation, and ETL workflow orchestration
- Proficiency with GraphQL
- Experience with server-side technologies such as Apache Tomcat
- Experience with log analytics and observability platforms, particularly Splunk
- Experience with the SAFe Agile framework
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages/frameworks: Java, .NET(C#), Python
- Advanced proficiency in frontend development using JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular, Vue, Svelte, Bootstrap
- Advanced proficiency with relational databases and SQL: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL
- Advanced proficiency building REST APIs using technologies like ASP.NET Core, Flask, Django, Express.js, or Spring Boot
- Advanced proficiency with Git and other source control management systems
- Advanced proficiency with debugging and problem-solving techniques
- Advanced proficiency with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Redis
- Advanced proficiency with Lucene-based search/indexing platforms: Elasticsearch and Apache Solr
- Advanced proficiency with data streaming and integration technologies such as Apache Nifi
- Advanced proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker, Kubernetes
- Advanced proficiency with cloud platforms: AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S
- Advanced proficiency with API design, versioning, and integration best practices
- Advanced proficiency with DevSecOps practices and tools
- Advanced proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
