Responsibilities
- Managing daily operations and DevOps activities on externally accessible systems, including deployment, configuration, upkeep, and issue resolution
- Using and advancing configuration management and service deployment tools such as Puppet and Kubernetes
- Driving ongoing platform improvements by automating service setup, configuration, and maintenance workflows
- Partnering with development teams to support scalable feature delivery by advising on system architecture and large-scale implementation
- Taking part in a round-the-clock incident response rotation, including diagnosing and resolving production system outages and alerts
- Working collaboratively with a distributed, multidisciplinary team using asynchronous communication practices
- Providing technical mentorship and operational guidance to colleagues in areas of expertise
- Being available to travel internationally 1-2 times annually for team gatherings and in-person events
