Role Overview
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will take ownership of designing, building, and deploying ServiceNow solutions during a fixed-term engagement. Your work will focus on delivering robust, secure, and scalable applications that align with business objectives and are delivered within a specified timeframe.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications and modules, ensuring optimal performance, security, and long-term scalability.
- Partner with business analysts, project leads, and stakeholders to interpret requirements and convert them into functional technical designs on the ServiceNow platform.
- Configure and tailor ServiceNow workflows, forms, and scripts to improve system capabilities and usability.
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems to support automated processes and reliable data exchange.
- Produce detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment instructions, and user guidance, in alignment with project milestones.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced technical issues related to configuration, performance, and system integration throughout the contract period.
- Apply current ServiceNow updates and best practices to ensure development approaches remain current and effective.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of direct experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a history of delivering projects successfully in contract roles.
- Strong command of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with practical application in ServiceNow environments.
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules and platform architecture.
- Required to be on-site three days per week as part of a hybrid work arrangement.
Preferred Credential
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is strongly preferred.
