About the Role
This role is responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive security architectures that protect organizational assets and support business objectives through proactive risk management and technology integration.
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-wide security solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements
- Evaluate and integrate security technologies into existing IT infrastructure
- Lead threat modeling and risk assessment initiatives for new and existing systems
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security in SDLC
- Define security standards, policies, and architectural patterns
- Provide expert guidance during security incident response and forensic analysis
- Ensure cloud platforms adhere to security best practices and compliance mandates
- Advise on identity and access management strategies and implementations
- Support third-party risk assessments with technical oversight
- Drive adoption of zero trust principles across network and application layers
- Conduct security architecture reviews for major technology projects
- Translate regulatory requirements into enforceable technical controls
- Mentor junior architects and security engineers on design principles
- Stay current with emerging threats and evolving cybersecurity technologies
- Partner with audit and compliance teams to prepare for assessments
- Develop secure API and microservices design patterns
- Oversee encryption strategies for data at rest and in transit
