Responsibilities
- Create and deploy secure software architectures that meet organizational and security needs.
- Establish and uphold secure coding guidelines across development teams.
- Integrate automated security testing into CI/CD workflows, including static, dynamic, and dependency analysis.
- Carry out threat modeling and evaluate risks for software applications and services.
- Execute routine code-level security reviews and identify system vulnerabilities.
- Track and manage security incidents related to applications, collaborating with engineering and operations teams.
- Investigate and propose emerging security tools and methodologies to strengthen application defenses.
- Keep updated security records and ensure adherence to internal protocols and industry benchmarks.
- Collaborate with development teams to address security issues and embed security practices into the software lifecycle.
- Clearly convey security threats and mitigation strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
