Responsibilities
- Lead and assign tasks to the Risk Management team during intricate projects or programmes.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership and stakeholders to provide progress updates.
- Ensure team members understand project scope, roles, and responsibilities through clear briefings.
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with related disciplines and leadership teams.
- Manage direct reports, including performance evaluations and career development planning.
- Champion ongoing enhancements in Risk Management and cross-functional processes to improve efficiency and client value.
- Oversee the adoption and execution of updated Risk Management procedures across teams.
- Advocate for the importance and application of Risk Management practices within project teams.
- Serve as a technical expert in risk-related matters.
- Deliver in-depth analytical insights, such as QCRA and QSRA, to inform leadership decisions.
- Coach clients and junior staff on risk methodologies and best practices.
- Assist in overseeing the risk team’s operational and administrative functions.
- Contribute to recruitment initiatives aimed at strengthening project controls expertise.
- Engage with national and regional risk networks, including Communities of Practice.
