Responsibilities
- Lead teams of risk specialists to deliver consistent, high-quality risk management on diverse and challenging projects.
- Develop and implement customized risk management frameworks aligned with client requirements and industry best practices.
- Advance risk processes through continuous improvement, enhancing efficiency and client outcomes.
- Evaluate and validate risk data to ensure accuracy, defensibility, and relevance to project conditions.
- Support the adoption and integration of updated risk management methodologies.
- Serve as the primary risk expert on major projects or programmes.
- Collaborate with integrated project teams to establish reliable performance baselines and support change management.
- Create and deliver risk training programs while mentoring clients and junior staff.
- Plan and lead risk workshops with experts to identify and update project-specific risks.
- Maintain risk registers and related documentation, ensuring data quality and reporting integrity.
- Promote and oversee the execution of risk mitigation strategies across projects.
- Help project teams define clear, measurable responses to identified risks.
- Communicate the importance and value of risk management to project stakeholders.
- Manage quantitative schedule and cost risk analyses and interpret results to guide project focus.
- Support effective use and reduction of project contingency reserves.
- Engage with suppliers to assess and integrate supply chain risks into client planning.
- Coordinate with other project controls functions to align risk data with overall project information.
