About the Role

This position involves handling private pay account inquiries, processing payments, and maintaining financial records with high accuracy while supporting clients through phone and digital channels.

Responsibilities

  • Manage private pay account portfolios for timely billing and collections
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices and payment status
  • Verify insurance and payment information for accuracy
  • Process payments and update account records in company systems
  • Communicate with clients to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Follow up on overdue accounts using established procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and personal data
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Document all client interactions accurately and promptly
  • Escalate complex cases to appropriate departments
  • Monitor account activity for unusual or suspicious patterns
  • Support onboarding of new private pay clients
  • Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliation
  • Participate in training and performance reviews
  • Adhere to service level agreements for response times
  • Utilize multiple software platforms for data entry and retrieval
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing policies
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing processes
  • Work independently while meeting performance targets
