Responsibilities
- Design and maintain efficient React Native applications with strong performance characteristics.
- Develop scalable and maintainable TypeScript code in alignment with established engineering standards.
- Enhance application architecture, speed, reliability, and developer workflows.
- Lead React Native version updates, manage dependencies, and oversee framework transitions.
- Create, support, and troubleshoot native iOS components using Swift and Kotlin.
- Connect native platform capabilities to React Native through seamless API integration.
- Identify and fix issues related to native dependencies and bridge communication failures.
- Collaborate with Android developers on shared native integration efforts.
- Take full ownership of automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
- Construct robust CI/CD systems that catch regressions prior to deployment.
- Advocate for code quality via reviews, mentorship, and adherence to engineering guidelines.
- Address technical debt while increasing long-term code sustainability.
- Develop comprehensive testing approaches across diverse Android devices, screen dimensions, and OS versions.
- Increase release reliability using automation, monitoring, and quality controls.
- Improve app performance, memory efficiency, rendering speed, and responsiveness.
- Analyze and resolve live production problems using structured debugging methods.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and QA in cross-functional teams.
- Assist in shaping technical direction during early product planning phases.
- Participate in engineering-wide conversations about system architecture.
- Guide other engineers and advance best practices across development pods.
