Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and developing bills of quantities and profit strategies.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and coordinate regular commercial meetings with clients and project teams.
- Provide detailed commercial updates to the Project Manager as needed.
- Oversee subcontractor financial accounts, including interim valuations and final settlements.
- Ensure timely processing of payment certificates and disbursements according to contract terms.
- Apply retentions in accordance with contractual agreements.
- Administer contract responsibilities and meet client-specific commercial requirements.
- Prepare and submit interim and final accounts and progress claims as required by contract.
- Ensure monthly claims include precise remeasurements, site variations, dayworks, and valid claims.
- Recognize and report material or labor cost escalations when applicable.
- Identify potential commercial risks and escalate promptly to senior leadership.
- Carry out assigned duties under the guidance of senior management.
- Understand project scheduling and its impact on commercial outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with the Planning Engineer to ensure accurate progress tracking.
- Cost and agree on daily work changes, including subcontractor remeasurements and site variations.
- Keep thorough records and documentation to support cost tracking and audits.
- Work independently and prioritize tasks effectively without supervision.
- Maintain high speed and precision in delivering financial and commercial data.
- Engage in negotiations with clients or their representatives when required.
- Demonstrate dedication, professionalism, and a strong work ethic in all responsibilities.
- Safeguard sensitive information and adhere strictly to the company's Information Security Management System.
