Responsibilities
- Reviewing test basis (stories, FSD, design docs, etc.) and give feedback about whether they are testable or not
- Creating and designing efficient test cases to provide good coverage (for both manual and automated testing)
- Performing manual testing across Mobile applications, APIs, and Databases
- Performing required activities to apply test process (test planning, design, execution, monitoring and reporting)
- Providing feedback to software engineering and other teams and enforce that business requirements are being met in the product
- Taking a supportive role on continuous integration, continuous testing and release management
- Taking an active role in all aspects of quality within the project
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Software/Computer Engineering or related fields
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, with strong communication skills
- Strong experience in testing Mobile applications, APIs, and Databases
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, test design techniques and processes
- Experience with frameworks and tools like Postman
- Knowledge of SQL and/or other scripting tools
- Experience with Agile Development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Experience using a test management system, preferably Zephyr
- Strong familiarity with Agile Software Development Approach, Java/other OO languages
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, MS SQL Server, Cosmos, MongoDB, etc. Familiarity with DB queries is mandatory
- Accurate sense of analysis and synthesis to define root causes and possible solutions
