Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers to establish clear acceptance standards, quality benchmarks, and release requirements for key product milestones
- Create and sustain test strategies and thorough test collections that reflect product capabilities and user pathways
- Construct and carry out test cases to verify complete workflows, boundary conditions, and usability across connected system components
- Carry out security evaluations focusing on OWASP Top 10 risks, authentication and authorization methods, and role-based permissions
- Test input handling and API security, including token management, rate controls, and sanitization of error outputs
- Develop, update, and expand automated regression test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines, incorporating static and dynamic security analysis tools
- Detect, record, monitor, and rank software defects and security flaws with detailed reproduction instructions and risk evaluation
- Work closely with engineering teams to analyze root causes, identify defect patterns, and improve processes to avoid future issues
- Engage in Agile rituals and contribute quality and security feedback during product evaluations and retrospective meetings
