Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle testing by designing and managing manual and automated test approaches that validate both functional and non-functional aspects of software solutions.
- Build, update, and run reliable automated test scripts and frameworks, complemented by thorough manual testing to detect subtle bugs and rare edge cases.
- Identify, log, and monitor defects with high precision, ensuring clear documentation and efficient resolution workflows.
- Act as the primary quality authority, guiding QA teams in testing standards, defect prevention, and ongoing process enhancements.
- Lead difficult client conversations on quality benchmarks, test outcomes, and defect tracking, converting technical data into strategic business guidance.
- Develop and refine test strategies, including risk-based, regression, and automation planning, aligned with project objectives and schedules.
- Partner with developers, business analysts, and project managers to meet quality goals, while coaching junior QA members and promoting quality-first practices.
- Monitor advancements in testing tools and methods, introducing innovative QA practices and technologies to improve testing speed and accuracy.
