Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end quality strategy for the BP DeFi Wallet. You won't just execute test plans; you will architect scalable manual and automated frameworks that ensure high-velocity delivery without compromising security.
- Act as a key stakeholder in the SDLC, co-shaping Scrum/Agile practices. You will lead the QA vision for the engineering team and setting the standard for excellence.
- Drive the evolution of QA processes by institutionalising Shift-Left methodologies. You will be the primary advocate for testability, usability, and rigorous security standards during the design phase.
- Lead the development and maintenance of automation frameworks (Playwright E2E, Integration, API, and Load). You will optimize our CI/CD pipelines to maximize feedback speed and deployment confidence.
- Own and refine the global release testing strategy, determining the optimal balance of cadence, device coverage, and automated vs. exploratory testing to protect our users.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in mobile-first environments, with mastery of both Front-End and Back-End QA complexities.
- Deep domain knowledge in Payments and an understanding of the Web3/DeFi ecosystem. You understand the unique risks associated with blockchain transactions.
- Elite analytical skills, capable of not just finding bugs, but identifying systemic patterns and architectural risks that others might miss.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban, with a 'clean code' mindset. You write maintainable, scalable automation code and foster a culture of technical excellence within the team.
- Proven track record of building and scaling automation frameworks from scratch (ideally TypeScript-based) and seamlessly integrating them into enterprise-level CI/CD environments (e.g., GitLab).
