Responsibilities
- Create suitable and new test cases to verify layer2/layer3 switch functionality, performance, and security.
- Develop and execute test plans for data center infrastructure, including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems.
- Perform system-level testing to validate hardware and software integration.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve system issues.
- Help recreating field issue and co-work with RD/Support/ODM or chipset vender to determine the root cause.
- Review/Modify the manual test cases based on different requirements from customer or PE.
- Generate testing reports on each testing firmware and follow up for bug resolution.
- Learn and understand the functions/features of the product being tested.
- Train other members or share any job-related knowledge with others.
- Confirm test case steps and facilitate automation engineer to automate test case.
- Communicate and help automation QA engineer to debug issues when found by automation scripts.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power systems, cooling, and networking.
- Familiar with L2/L3 Switch Testing.
- Familiar with L2/L3 protocol, TCP/IP, NAT & Firewall, IGMPv2/v3, NTP, DNS, FTP, HTTPS, 802.1x, QoS, SNMP Testing.
- Familiar in network-related application software testing and environment setup, and able to work independently.
- Proven experience in data center testing or a similar role.
Nice to Have
- Prefer of 4 years or above experience in networking product testing.
- Experience with automation scripts development is a plus.
- Proficient in English is a plus.
