Responsibilities
- Develop and carry out comprehensive test plans and scenarios derived from product specifications and acceptance conditions.
- Perform unscripted testing to uncover edge cases, usability problems, and unintended system behaviors.
- Log defects precisely with reproducible steps, comparisons of expected versus actual outcomes, and supporting materials such as screenshots or logs.
- Partner with engineers, product leads, and design teams to align on requirements and address quality-related topics.
- Verify corrections by retesting resolved issues to ensure complete resolution and absence of regressions.
- Build, update, and refine automated test scripts in alignment with functional requirements and acceptance standards.
- Construct and manage test automation frameworks that are scalable, reusable, and capable of supporting functional, regression, and performance validation.
- Work with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate automated testing into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Run automated test collections to confirm feature correctness and adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Review and assess outcomes of test executions, determine root causes of failures, and coordinate with developers for issue resolution.
