Kiwi Financial Inc is hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality of Web and Mobile applications throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and a proactive mindset, focusing on excellence, reliability, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Design, execute, and document manual and automated test cases.
- Develop and maintain automation test suites, primarily using Cypress.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, and integration testing.
- Validate APIs using Postman / Newman and ensure proper handling of REST APIs.
- Collaborate closely with Development, Product, and Design to ensure quality from early stages.
- Report, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Participate in requirement reviews and define test strategies aligned with the development cycle.
- Improve QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
- Provide detailed reports with evidence using Allure or similar tools.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
- Advanced knowledge in Cypress and solid experience in API testing.
- Experience validating Web and Mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and queries.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with selectors and strategies to manipulate elements (CSS, XPath).
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Fluent communication in English (oral and written).
- Strong problem-solving skills, commitment, and collaboration mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Appium).
- Experience with BrowserStack or other Test Management tools.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
