Responsibilities
- Lead automation testing initiatives across web, mobile, and API environments.
- Act as technical lead for automation, defining best practices, testing strategies, and framework standards.
- Build and maintain scalable test automation suites using Playwright for web and Detox for mobile.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA teams to define test criteria, strategies, and automation plans.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and stable deployments.
- Identify ways to enhance test coverage, execution speed, and automation efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews with a focus on testability, maintainability, and code quality.
- Guide and develop QA engineers, promoting teamwork, innovation, and accountability for quality.
- Advocate for quality-driven development approaches such as Test-Driven Development and Behavior-Driven Development.
- Promote the use of modern tools and processes to increase software reliability and release velocity.
