As a Senior Project Manager for HVDC projects, you will oversee the full lifecycle execution of EPC power initiatives, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, safety protocols, quality benchmarks, and financial objectives. You will lead diverse, cross-functional teams and provide clear direction to meet project milestones and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct project planning and execution, including scope definition, budget oversight, scheduling, and risk management
- Monitor all phases of implementation to maintain cost efficiency, optimal resource use, and adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to support project success
- Manage changes to contracts, including variation orders and claims, in coordination with legal, supply chain, and contract teams
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and internal policies throughout project delivery
- Identify risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and promote the sharing of lessons learned across teams
- Support contract negotiations and dispute resolution processes in collaboration with legal and contracts functions
- Champion a culture rooted in safety, integrity, and accountability, fostering responsible decision-making and mutual respect
Qualifications and Experience
You bring demonstrated experience in project management within the energy or power sector. You hold full authorization to work in the UK without restrictions or sponsorship. A university degree, particularly in engineering or a related technical field, is preferred.
Work Environment
