Responsibilities
- Lead civil engineering projects in healthcare from initial planning through final delivery, adhering to regulatory codes, industry standards, and client requirements
- Create and execute plans to strengthen market position in healthcare, using industry insights, emerging trends, and relationships with clients and design partners
- Collaborate with architects, healthcare leaders, engineers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to design facilities that improve patient outcomes and operational performance
- Oversee project finances, timelines, personnel allocation, and quality assurance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery within defined scope
- Guide engineering teams on healthcare projects, promoting skill development, technical precision, and high-performance standards
- Manage permitting processes by engaging local authorities, securing timely approvals, resolving regulatory feedback, and advancing site authorization
- Coordinate with internal departments, technical experts, and external consultants to ensure integrated, high-quality project results
- Serve as a representative at industry events, client discussions, and public forums to build relationships, enhance visibility, and position the firm as a thought leader
- Anticipate, assess, and address project risks while ensuring adherence to environmental, safety, and healthcare facility regulations
