Responsibilities
- Lead the expansion of the Water Resources practice in Central Florida by applying market knowledge, client connections, and strategic pursuit methods to win new projects and strengthen regional market position
- Manage business development efforts such as client engagement, proposal preparation, presentations, and contract discussions, with full responsibility for pursuit planning and results
- Act as a strategic client partner by learning their goals and challenges to uncover new project opportunities, deepen relationships, and promote additional service offerings
- Define and negotiate project scope, pricing, timelines, and agreements to clearly outline expectations while safeguarding profitability, risk controls, and feasible delivery
- Oversee project delivery with accountability for meeting or exceeding client, stakeholder, regulatory, and permitting standards in line with company policies
- Monitor financial performance and resource allocation, including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and workload distribution to meet project and organizational targets
- Guide technical quality and direction for water resources projects by reviewing studies, designs, reports, and outputs to ensure high technical standards
- Coach and support team members to build capability, encourage innovation, collaboration, and high performance in support of business growth

- Work is mainly conducted in an office environment with minimal exposure to adverse outdoor conditions
- Tasks involve frequent use of hands for typing, picking, pinching, and grasping, often with repetitive motion
- Requires clear vision for computer screen use, as well as speaking, hearing, and the ability to sit for long durations
- Frequent lifting of up to 5 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds is required
- Additional physical tasks may be necessary as project needs arise
