Role Overview

As a Senior Production Support Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues across application and data environments, with a strong focus on maintaining service levels and supporting business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems to ensure consistent performance, availability, and compliance with service level agreements.
- Diagnose and resolve application defects, data flow disruptions, and integration failures within defined timeframes.
- Deliver responsive, client-oriented support by communicating incident status and resolution progress clearly and promptly.
- Analyze existing platforms and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement in scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct root cause investigations for system outages or performance degradation, and implement corrective code or configuration changes.
- Collaborate with business units, risk management, and IT teams to align technical solutions with operational requirements.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing after-hours and weekend support as needed to maintain system uptime.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and system modifications to support audit readiness and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years supporting .NET-based production applications.
- At least three years of hands-on experience with ETL platforms such as Informatica or Microsoft SSIS.
- Proven experience working with AWS cloud services in a support or operations capacity.
- Strong technical proficiency in .NET, C#, VB.NET, VB6, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Ability to analyze, tune, and optimize database queries and data pipeline performance.
- Experience troubleshooting and enhancing cloud-based data workflows for security, speed, and resilience.
- Solid background in system upgrades, configuration management, and debugging legacy and modern applications.
- Skilled in resolving complex technical issues under pressure and managing escalation paths effectively.
- Understanding of data privacy standards and secure coding practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Reliable availability for off-hours support when operational demands require it.

- Familiarity with systems and processes in the insurance sector is advantageous.
