Responsibilities
- Own solution positioning, messaging quality, and narrative clarity across priority solution areas aligned to 1Password’s Identity Security and AI strategy.
- Translate complex IT and security challenges into clear, compelling narratives and content that moves buyers through the funnel and helps sellers win.
- Accountable for the clarity, differentiation, and consistency of solution narratives across the company, such as SaaS Sprawl, Zero Trust, Enterprise Vaulting and Privileged Access Management.
- Partner closely with Product Marketing, Global Campaigns, Demand, and GTM Enablement to ensure our solutions show up consistently across campaigns, content, and sales motions.
- Craft and own solution narratives tailored to distinct buyer and influencer personas, including security leaders, IT administrators, developers, and other technical stakeholders.
- Translate market problems, customer pain, and product capabilities into differentiated solution positioning, messaging frameworks, and proof points.
- Build alignment and drive adoption of solution narratives across campaigns, web experiences, content, enablement, and customer-facing touchpoints.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Global Campaigns, Demand, and GTM Enablement to execute and activate solution narratives across campaigns, web experiences, content, and sales motions.
- Support analyst-facing solution narratives in partnership with Analyst Relations to ensure consistent positioning across research, briefings, and reports.
- Act as the solution narrative point of contact for cross-functional initiatives requiring solution-level clarity and alignment.
- Lead the strategy and delivery of solution content across multiple altitudes, including web experiences, long-form assets, thought leadership, and sales enablement.
- Ensure solution content supports pipeline progression, deal acceleration, and sales effectiveness, with a strong emphasis on differentiation and credibility.
- Partner with Content, Digital Marketing, and Enablement teams to deliver assets such as solution landing pages, whitepapers, solution briefs, case studies, sales plays, and analyst-ready narratives.
- Build strong, trusted partnerships with Product Marketing, Global Campaigns, Sales, GTM Enablement, Customer Success, and Analyst Relations.
- Align solution messaging with product roadmaps, campaign priorities, and sales motions to drive cohesive go-to-market execution.
- Act as the solutions marketing point of contact for cross-functional initiatives requiring solution-level narrative clarity.
- Conduct ongoing market and customer research, including customer interviews, competitive analysis, win-loss insights, and sales feedback loops, to inform narratives and content strategy.
- Use performance data to refine messaging and improve content effectiveness over time.
- Track and report on KPIs related to content engagement, funnel progression, and pipeline influence.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Solutions Marketing, Product Marketing, or related roles within B2B SaaS, security, or adjacent technical categories.
- Experience marketing products or platforms in one or more of the following domains: IAM, PAM, secrets management, endpoint security, cloud security, or developer platforms.
- Exceptional writing skills, with a proven ability to produce compelling, high-quality content across multiple formats and altitudes, including web, long-form narrative, thought leadership, and sales enablement.
- Strong experience partnering with campaign, demand gen, and content teams to influence and deliver MOFU and BOFU programs and assets.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling, buyer-focused stories that drive action.
- Strong business acumen, with experience connecting messaging and content to pipeline outcomes and sales impact.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams without formal authority.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with multiple priorities and dependencies.
