Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic direction for data products that empower merchants and differentiate the platform
- Turn merchant challenges such as payment declines, conversion issues, and reconciliation into product solutions
- Shape product priorities using direct merchant input and measurable business outcomes
- Integrate data from card networks, issuing banks, and payment service providers into unified insights
- Present complex payment data—including decline reasons, interchange fees, and processing costs—in clear, accessible formats
- Streamline financial reconciliation and reporting across all payment channels
- Ensure data infrastructure delivers fast, accurate reporting at scale with defined service level standards
- Align reporting outputs, APIs, and internal analytics to provide consistent data experiences
- Manage the full reporting lifecycle, including dashboards, exports, scheduled reports, and APIs for all payment stages
- Deliver insights on decline patterns, issuer behavior, and routing efficiency
- Build flexible, customizable reporting tools for large-scale merchants
- Define and expose key performance metrics and tools for optimization such as intelligent routing and retry logic
- Create benchmarking features that allow comparisons by industry, merchant type, and region
- Determine pricing models and packaging for advanced data offerings
- Develop premium features like real-time analytics, alerts, custom reports, and data access APIs
- Collaborate with sales and account teams to highlight data value in client acquisition and expansion
- Work with go-to-market teams to increase adoption and revenue from data products
- Coordinate with engineering, data science, finance, risk, and commercial teams across global time zones
- Own key performance indicators including dashboard usage, report engagement, merchant retention, and revenue from data features
- Measure improvements in authorization rates, conversion, and cost efficiency for merchants
- Test and refine recommendation engines and alert systems to improve merchant outcomes
