As a Senior Product Designer, you'll lead the creation of intuitive digital experiences used by veterinarians, technicians, and students. Your work will directly influence product direction across web and mobile platforms, balancing user needs with strategic business goals.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design of new features and improvements across responsive web and mobile applications.
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to define product vision within a cross-functional squad.
- Develop and maintain design systems that ensure consistency and scalability.
- Identify and solve complex design challenges that span multiple teams.
- Use research and data to measure design impact and guide iterative improvements.
- Own end-to-end user journeys, ensuring high-quality, cohesive experiences.
- Conduct and analyze user research, collaborating closely with product partners.
- Mentor junior designers in problem-solving and project execution.
- Share design insights across the organization to strengthen user understanding.
- Stay current with industry trends and integrate emerging best practices.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–8+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing strong UX/UI and ownership of full design cycles.
- Proven experience building and managing design systems.
- Proficiency in Figma and standard digital design tools.
- Skill in balancing user needs with business objectives.
- Experience planning and executing user research to guide product decisions.
- Ability to develop early-stage concepts and proof-of-concept designs.
- Track record of aligning design, product, and engineering teams around shared goals.
- Adaptability in a fast-moving, evolving startup environment.
- Strong communication skills with experience working across U.S. and global teams.
Work Environment
This role is part of a remote-first organization. A hybrid option is available for candidates based in San Francisco, combining flexibility with in-person collaboration.

Compensation
Compensation is tiered based on location: Tier 1 ($150K–$190K) for high-cost cities like San Francisco and NYC; Tier 2 ($135K–$170K) for cities including LA and Seattle; Tier 3 ($125K–$160K) covering Austin and Denver; Tier 4 ($120K–$150K) for locations such as Atlanta and Phoenix.
