About the Role
This role involves shaping product direction by combining design thinking with user insights, delivering high-fidelity solutions, and guiding projects from concept to launch.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design processes for digital product features
- Conduct user research to identify pain points and opportunities
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers throughout development cycles
- Translate complex requirements into simple, effective interfaces
- Advocate for user needs during planning and prioritization
- Iterate designs based on usability testing and feedback
- Maintain and evolve the design system for consistency
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders
- Support accessibility standards across all design outputs
- Manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
- Mentor junior designers in best practices and workflows
- Ensure alignment between business goals and user experience
- Participate in sprint reviews and design critiques
- Integrate analytics insights into design improvements
- Drive design innovation while respecting technical constraints
- Document design decisions and patterns for team reference
- Coordinate with UX writers to refine microcopy
- Evaluate emerging design tools and methodologies
- Contribute to long-term product vision and roadmap
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in design or related discipline
- Experience in B2B software products
- Background in motion or interaction design
- Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks
- Experience designing for international audiences
- Knowledge of data visualization principles
- Previous work in fast-paced startup environments
- Exposure to design research tools (e.g., Lookback, Maze)
- Understanding of machine learning interfaces
- Track record of contributing to design culture
