About the Role

This role supports sales teams by delivering technical expertise during the pre-sales process, ensuring customer requirements are met with accurate system designs and solutions tailored to specific needs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales representatives to understand client challenges and objectives
  • Design system configurations that align with customer specifications and project goals
  • Present technical demonstrations and product capabilities to prospective clients
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering proposals
  • Support the development of quotes and proposals with accurate technical data
  • Provide on-site and virtual support during the sales cycle as needed
  • Work within a pod-based team model to ensure cross-functional coordination
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications and performance metrics
  • Troubleshoot potential design issues before customer presentation
  • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to validate solution feasibility
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Respond to technical inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders
  • Assist in the validation of system scalability and integration capabilities
  • Contribute to the improvement of pre-sales tools and documentation
  • Track and report on pre-sales engineering activities and outcomes

Nice to Have

  • Professional engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification
  • Experience with large-scale water system deployments
  • Background in sustainability or environmental compliance programs
  • Prior work with enterprise-level clients in technical sales roles
  • Familiarity with IoT-enabled monitoring systems in water infrastructure
