Responsibilities

- Conduct power flow, short circuit, and transient stability analyses
- Develop analytics tools for energy system performance evaluation
- Ensure modeling accuracy and alignment with industry standards
- Collaborate with clients to define project requirements
- Produce technical reports and documentation
- Present findings to stakeholders and decision-makers
- Stay current with evolving grid technologies and regulations
- Integrate renewable energy impacts into system models
- Manage multiple concurrent projects within deadlines
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers
- Support business development through technical proposals
- Utilize software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, or similar tools
- Perform data quality assessments for input parameters
- Lead model calibration and validation efforts
- Coordinate with external engineering teams and utilities
- Apply industry standards like NERC and IEEE in analyses
- Support compliance and regulatory reporting needs
- Evaluate system performance under various operating scenarios
