Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development and validation of packaging and labeling systems to maintain product safety, meet regulations, and control costs
- Act as the technical authority on packaging materials, label technologies, and associated manufacturing processes for both new and existing products
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish project scope, schedules, and risk controls tied to R&D and market timelines
- Advance ongoing improvements targeting environmental sustainability, material efficiency, and lifecycle cost reduction
- Ensure adherence to internal quality policies, regulatory requirements, and global standards across all packaging activities
- Address intricate technical issues using systematic analysis and risk-based decision-making approaches
- Support the evaluation, approval, and ongoing assessment of suppliers providing packaging and labeling components
- Guide less experienced engineers and contribute to building technical expertise within the team
