Responsibilities
- Establish and oversee pension-related workflows including transfers, contributions, bonus processing, and resolution of complex cases.
- Scale the pensions operations team by developing, guiding, and managing personnel in line with business expansion and increasing transaction volumes.
- Serve as a domain expert in setting up German pension products, training team members, and supporting daily operational tasks.
- Develop strong working relationships with client operations teams and assist them in resolving end-user pension inquiries.
- Support the creation of a best-in-class pension product through operational excellence and user-centric design.
- Enhance operational efficiency by refining workflows and integrating automation and AI technologies.
- Design and implement process improvements while maintaining adherence to legal regulations and internal policies, mitigating operational risks.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Treasury, and other departments to streamline operations and resolve emerging issues.
- Engage in initiatives focused on expanding pension offerings to meet growing market demand.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of German pension market regulations and existing product structures.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and data interactions involving ZFA.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a focus on identifying and resolving operational errors.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships across internal and external parties.
- Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Native or fluent proficiency in written and spoken German; English proficiency is optional.
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in data analysis and process automation using tools such as SQL, Python, or data visualization platforms.
- Several years of professional experience with Riesterrente, a former German pension product.
