Responsibilities
- Oversee, maintain, and fine-tune NAS storage environments to guarantee consistent availability and optimal performance.
- Deliver advanced support for NFS storage configurations and SMB file shares linked to Windows Active Directory and DFS namespaces.
- Operate and sustain high-capacity storage platforms including NetApp, DELL Powerscale (Isilon), and Hitachi VSP systems.
- Participate in SAN volume provisioning and manage storage across its full lifecycle.
- Create and implement automation scripts using bash, ksh, Python, Perl, and Ansible to streamline operational workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve intricate storage-related issues while conducting in-depth root cause investigations.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application groups to align storage architecture with organizational demands.
- Keep accurate records of storage setups, operational standards, and solutions applied during incident handling.
