Responsibilities
- Build and maintain customized Moodle Workplace interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure engaging, responsive, and intuitive learning experiences.
- Design responsive and mobile-optimized layouts that deliver consistent functionality across various devices and screen sizes.
- Apply user experience principles to enhance navigation, accessibility, and learner interaction within the platform.
- Ensure all Moodle content and themes meet Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards through regular validation.
- Configure and manage Moodle Workplace settings, including themes, plugins, and system-level configurations.
- Develop and organize courses, learning activities, and content aligned with organizational training goals.
- Handle user account lifecycle management, including creation, updates, and deactivation, to maintain accurate access controls.
- Assign and manage user roles and permissions in accordance with security and governance policies.
- Administer assigned training programs, certifications, and courses while tracking learner progress and completion status.
- Create and manage learning programs and certification workflows, including renewal rules and performance reporting.
- Develop and maintain competency models and personalized learning pathways, monitoring progress for individuals and teams.
- Generate custom reports in Moodle Workplace to track user engagement, course completion, compliance, and performance metrics.
- Clean, transform, and organize data using Excel and Power BI to meet operational and leadership reporting needs.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to generate accurate and meaningful insights for decision-making.
- Analyze learning and performance trends to support continuous improvement and evidence-based strategies.
- Automate routine reporting tasks to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure timely delivery.
- Design and deliver professional dashboards and visualizations in Power BI for executive review and analysis.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and user problems within Moodle Workplace promptly.
- Deliver training, documentation, and ongoing support to promote effective platform adoption and usage.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders through written guidance, documentation, and technical explanations.
- Work collaboratively with IT, instructional designers, and educators to align platform capabilities with instructional and business objectives.
- Support SCORM and xAPI-based course content, ensuring proper integration and accurate data tracking.
- Install, configure, and maintain Moodle plugins to extend and enhance system functionality.
- Use basic SQL queries to assist with data reporting, validation, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Utilize version control tools such as Git to manage code changes, updates, and deployments systematically.
Eligibility/Clearance Requirements
Must be eligible to obtain a Department of Homeland Security EOD clearance (Requirements 1. Proof of US Citizenship, 2. Favorable Background Investigation)
