Responsibilities
- Design and implement new features for mobile readers using React Native across both iOS and Android platforms
- Enhance application speed, stability, responsiveness, and overall reliability
- Create mobile-first interfaces that support content discovery, personalization, notifications, and user engagement
- Integrate with external systems including APIs, authentication services, analytics tools, push notifications, and third-party platforms
- Support feature experimentation, flagging strategies, system observability, and controlled release processes
- Build robust, scalable mobile architecture to support future product growth
- Develop, test, and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native
- Lead key mobile features from initial technical design through deployment and ongoing refinement
- Work closely with Product and Design teams to transform user requirements and UX patterns into accessible, polished experiences
- Coordinate with Backend and Data teams to integrate APIs, analytics, personalization engines, and engagement tools
- Optimize mobile app performance, debugging workflows, monitoring systems, and production stability
- Help shape mobile architecture standards, engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release procedures
- Diagnose and resolve live production issues using data, observability tools, and user feedback
- Guide junior engineers and elevate mobile development quality across the engineering team
