Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of the React Native mobile application, including design, development, testing, release, and ongoing support.
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and data specialists to deliver effective solutions.
- Take complete ownership of developed systems, covering both initial creation and long-term maintenance in line with the 'You build it, you own it' principle.
- Focus on delivering excellent user experiences by understanding customer needs and solving real problems.
- Bring experience in building complex applications, preferably with Python, React, React Native, or TypeScript, though other relevant backgrounds are welcome.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and efficiently in English, both verbally and in writing, within a global team environment.
- Support and occasionally contribute to Expo-based deployment pipelines used for service and infrastructure delivery.
- Design and manage backend services, including building standardized APIs, implementing monitoring, alerting, and integrating third-party systems.
- Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing practices and maintain high test coverage.
- Stay current with evolving technologies, tools, and industry best practices.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
