Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of cross-platform features focused on trip planning and sharing.
- Develop unified solutions to ensure consistent user experiences across platforms, with primary focus on iOS, while identifying technical constraints and proposing alternatives.
- Collaborate with UX designers, engineers, and product managers to deliver traveler-centric features.
- Promote high standards in engineering practices, usability, and product quality.
- Influence system architecture and platform integration decisions.
- Contribute actively within an agile environment that values continuous learning and iterative improvement.
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge across engineering teams.
- Lead efforts to modernize the Trips iOS platform by containerizing pages, enhancing performance through concurrency and data caching, and improving the build process via modularization.
- Collaborate with platform teams to maintain consistency and enable other teams to adopt improvements while supporting ongoing feature development.
