lightspeedhq is hiring a Senior Manager, Tax

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global tax function and directly supervise the Tax team
  • Oversee global tax operations, including compliance filings, quarterly tax provisions, transfer pricing, and international reporting
  • Supervise the preparation and submission of global sales tax returns, reconciliations, and payments
  • Deliver internal tax advisory support to business units and functional teams
  • Manage interactions with tax authorities, including audits and official correspondence
  • Optimize the use of external tax advisors to ensure efficient and effective support
  • Collaborate with Legal and M&A teams on transaction structuring, post-acquisition integration, and corporate structure planning
  • Provide tax and government grant data to FP&A for forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on current and proposed tax legislation affecting business operations

Compensation

The expected total compensation for this role ranges from $140,000 to $160,000 CAD.
