As the Senior Manager – Solution Development, you will serve as a technical authority in shaping integrated solutions for building management, fire detection, and security systems. Your expertise will directly support sales initiatives by enhancing solution design and improving project win rates across key verticals.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage early with consultants and clients to guide system architecture and shape request-for-proposal (RFP) documentation
- Shape technical specifications to align with preferred solution pathways, emphasizing performance and integration advantages
- Provide expert-level input on intelligent building management systems (iBMS), fire alarm and suppression, access control, and CCTV technologies
- Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to refine system designs and ensure optimal performance
- Support sales teams with technical analysis and solution recommendations during bidding and tender evaluation phases
- Gather and analyze market insights to identify customer pain points and relay findings to leadership
- Partner with internal engineering and service units to improve end-to-end customer experience
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with global product divisions and third-party OEM partners
- Coordinate regular training sessions led by OEM or global product specialists for internal technical teams
- Deliver detailed technical presentations to clients and design consultants showcasing solution capabilities in fire, security, and control systems
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a B.Tech or BE in Electrical or Electronics & Communication Engineering, with 8–10 years of experience in designing and developing CFS (Control, Fire, Security) solutions. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Individuals with a 3-year engineering diploma and 10–12 years of relevant experience may also be considered. Hands-on experience in designing and optimizing ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems is preferred. Familiarity with BIM and AutoCAD platforms is essential for success in this role.
