adesso Group is looking for a Senior Manager Software Development specializing in PHP / Symfony. In this role, you will combine team leadership with hands-on project involvement, building customer relationships and actively contributing to our corporate culture.
What You'll Do
- Manage hiring, development, and retention for your PHP/Symfony competency team.
- Work on technological projects with modern web architectures based on PHP/Symfony, contributing your expertise as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, Requirements Engineer, or Software Architect.
- Maintain customer relationships, advise clients on digitalization and transformation projects, and steer cross-functional teams.
- Actively shape our leadership understanding and corporate culture through Leader Circles.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience leading software projects.
- Familiarity with agile methods.
- Experience building and developing teams.
- Knowledge of the success factors of disciplinary leadership and successful teamwork.
- Excellent German and good English language skills for confident communication.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of modern PHP technologies, particularly in the Symfony environment and with corresponding web architectures.
- Previous exposure in projects with systems like Ibexa, Drupal, Sulu, or Shopware.
