Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide a diverse team of engineers across backend, frontend, full-stack, iOS, and Android disciplines, cultivating a culture rooted in innovation, ownership, and high technical standards.
- Design and advance distributed, scalable, and resilient systems capable of supporting millions of users worldwide on a daily basis.
- Manage end-to-end delivery across the entire software development lifecycle, including ideation, coding, testing, deployment, and sustained system reliability.
- Provide strategic technical leadership with expertise in backend languages such as Java, Python, and Node.js, along with microservices, APIs, and modern web and mobile frameworks.
- Champion code quality, system observability, performance optimization, and security practices throughout development and release cycles.
- Work closely with product management and other technology teams to ensure alignment between technical initiatives and business goals.
- Ensure operational rigor by implementing CI/CD pipelines, evaluating production readiness, and maintaining high availability for a 24/7 global platform.
- Promote the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance development speed and engineering productivity.
- Support professional growth by mentoring engineers and engineering leads in technical skills, career progression, and cross-team collaboration.
