Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing support of Site Reliability Engineering solutions in a digital environment. Partner with IT and business units to ensure system reliability, performance, and continuous improvement by enforcing technical standards, automation, and proactive monitoring across production systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with business and IT teams to align technical delivery with organizational goals.
- Conduct code and non-functional reviews covering performance, security, compliance, and maintainability for all production-bound SRE solutions.
- Oversee vendor partnerships, including issue resolution and ongoing maintenance of supported applications.
- Lead process transformation by identifying and implementing automation opportunities across workflows and systems.
- Monitor, track, and manage technical work streams to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the application portfolio by documenting core components, infrastructure, and shared functionalities.
- Support deployment of new releases, bug fixes, and technology updates—including patching and certificate renewals—with post-release validation.
- Champion continuous improvement in monitoring, tooling, and technical practices to enhance productivity and system reliability.
- Manage the application maintenance budget and provide cost forecasts for support activities related to new development projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of seven years in a technology leadership role with direct people management experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting, maintaining, and delivering enhancements or maintenance projects for critical systems.
- Proven experience managing both onshore and offshore vendor resources.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, diverse technology stacks, and workflow integration.
- Skills in capacity planning, system sizing, and performance optimization.
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements and apply application enhancements effectively.
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Understanding of the capabilities and constraints of enterprise and corporate application architectures.
