Responsibilities
- Analyze market conditions and evaluate potential sites to support expansion into new dispensary and production locations
- Oversee full-cycle real estate transactions, including leases, acquisitions, and asset sales, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards
- Prepare and negotiate letters of intent, term sheets, and purchase agreements in collaboration with legal teams
- Support mergers and acquisitions due diligence by reviewing leases, title reports, and property surveys
- Develop investment memos and deal summaries to facilitate internal approval processes
- Collaborate with construction and facilities teams to synchronize property readiness with operational and compliance timelines
- Supervise external consultants, brokers, appraisers, and legal advisors involved in real estate initiatives
- Manage ongoing relationships with landlords across a multi-state portfolio of dispensaries, cultivation, and manufacturing sites
- Review and negotiate lease modifications, estoppel certificates, subordination agreements, and assignment consents
- Administer lease documentation including rent schedules, straight-line rent calculations, common area maintenance reconciliations, and key date tracking
- Address landlord disputes, default notices, and early termination requests, coordinating with legal counsel when necessary
- Maintain accurate lease abstracts, landlord obligation trackers, and portfolio reporting systems
- Lead and mentor property management personnel, including direct supervision of team members
