About the Role

This role is responsible for overseeing payroll functions across EMEA and APAC, managing regional teams, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and driving process improvements to support international growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll delivery for multiple countries in EMEA and APAC
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local labor laws
  • Lead and develop a team of payroll professionals across time zones
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal teams to align payroll operations
  • Implement and optimize payroll systems and tools
  • Drive standardization of payroll processes across regions
  • Monitor regulatory changes and adapt payroll practices accordingly
  • Oversee payroll audits and year-end processes
  • Support payroll integration during M&A or business expansions
  • Identify and mitigate payroll risks
  • Prepare payroll reporting for leadership review
  • Ensure data privacy and security in payroll handling
  • Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers
  • Lead payroll transformation initiatives
  • Troubleshoot complex payroll issues across jurisdictions
  • Maintain documentation for payroll policies and procedures
  • Train stakeholders on payroll processes and timelines
  • Escalate critical payroll issues promptly
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Ensure adherence to tax withholding and reporting requirements
  • Coordinate with global payroll leadership on strategy
  • Drive continuous improvement in payroll efficiency
  • Foster a culture of compliance and accountability
  • Provide guidance during employee inquiries or disputes
  • Support workforce changes including terminations and relocations
