As Senior Manager, Member Acquisition, you will lead the strategy and execution behind growing subscriber numbers across Forbes Advisor’s digital platforms. Reporting into the Membership team, this role is responsible for building and refining a scalable, multi-channel acquisition engine that drives measurable, cost-effective growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage a full-funnel acquisition strategy across paid, email, organic, and product-led channels to meet monthly subscription and net growth targets.
- Lead campaign planning and execution from concept to launch, managing timelines, cross-functional dependencies, and budget adherence.
- Improve conversion performance across key touchpoints including landing pages, paywall experiences, and email flows using A/B testing, behavioral insights, and funnel analytics.
- Write and refine marketing copy that aligns with brand voice and drives action across digital channels.
- Develop and manage email acquisition campaigns that guide prospects through the conversion journey.
- Oversee paid media initiatives across platforms such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and Reddit—from creative briefing to trafficking and performance tracking.
- Configure and run experiments within the paywall system, adjusting logic rules, audience segments, and content treatments to optimize results.
- Build and maintain a structured testing roadmap to continuously improve customer acquisition cost (CAC) and conversion efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product, Editorial, Data, and Creative teams to develop compelling, conversion-focused user experiences.
- Monitor and report on KPIs using analytics tools like Looker and Google Analytics, translating data into strategic recommendations.
- Explore and validate new acquisition channels and tactics to expand reach and diversify growth sources.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in growth marketing or user acquisition, ideally within digital media, subscription services, or ecommerce.
- Proven success scaling subscriber acquisition with measurable results in a data-driven environment.
- Direct experience managing paid campaigns on Meta, Google, Reddit, and LinkedIn, with strong knowledge of attribution models and tracking pixels.
- Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud required; working knowledge of HTML and AMPscript.
- Experience using Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) for audience segmentation and personalization.
- Skilled in Looker, Google Analytics, or similar BI tools for performance reporting and insight generation.
- Familiarity with digital compliance standards including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and data privacy best practices.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms and landing page optimization for conversion.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and guide strategy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience influencing cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on precision in campaign execution and post-launch analysis.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with subscription platforms such as Zuora.
- Familiarity with Cordial or similar marketing automation tools.

Compensation
Salary range: $95,000 – $110,000. Equity and additional compensation elements are not included in this posting.
