Lead a growing email marketing function with a focus on quality, compliance, and modernization. In this remote role, you'll guide a team responsible for high-volume client work while actively contributing to campaign execution and system improvements. Your leadership will shape how email programs are built, managed, and evolved across platforms and client needs.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and mentor a team of email marketing professionals, fostering growth and accountability
- Spend significant time in Salesforce Marketing Cloud building, reviewing, and optimizing email campaigns and journeys
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure campaigns meet technical and strategic goals
- Refine workflows and project assignments to improve efficiency and on-time delivery
- Develop roadmaps for better tools, data practices, and automation capabilities
- Stay current with evolving privacy regulations, email deliverability standards, and compliance requirements
- Integrate AI-powered tools to enhance planning, content development, and problem-solving
- Establish clear processes that reduce errors and maintain high-quality output
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders on email marketing best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) for campaign execution and system management
- Deep understanding of email architecture, including message design, journey building, and audience segmentation
- At least 10 years in marketing, with a focus on email or marketing automation
- Minimum of 5 years in formal people leadership roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to guide decisions and improvements
- Track record of improving processes and driving operational change
Preferred Experience
- SFMC certifications (Email Specialist, Consultant, or Admin)
- Familiarity with project management tools like Workfront
- Background in agency or enterprise environments
- Experience leading digital transformation or modernization initiatives
- Comfort using AI tools such as Copilot to support writing, planning, and workflow optimization

Compensation
Base salary range: $110,500 – $165,700. Final placement depends on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market data. A discretionary bonus is included.
