Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experts and stakeholders to implement the Global Transaction Banking Compliance program globally.
- Provide independent oversight and challenge activities that pose compliance risks across eight pillars and Conduct.
- Support and inform the Chief Compliance Officer's assessment of the IB RCM program's compliance activities, reporting to management and committees as needed.
- Identify, assess, communicate, and mitigate compliance risks, oversee corrective measures, and provide guidance to local Compliance and IB Business Risk Management.
- Stay updated on global regulatory and industry developments to ensure proper identification and mitigation of compliance risks, and identify opportunities for technological and process improvements.
- Support the Enterprise Regulatory Compliance Management program by reviewing regulatory obligations and ensuring the implementation of relevant controls.
- Ensure effective and efficient operations in accordance with the bank's values and strategic priorities, maintaining day-to-day business controls to meet regulatory and conduct risk obligations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain global frameworks, standards, policies, procedures, and related documentation for Global Compliance in the GTB program.
- Assist in the review of governance documents translated into Spanish and support the delivery of Compliance trainings to stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly key risk/event reports and assist in reporting violations to the Compliance Misconduct/Consequence Committee.
- Build strategic relationships and collaborate with various departments to ensure a coordinated, efficient, and effective Compliance Program.
- Understand and consider the bank's risk appetite in daily activities, measuring, monitoring, and reporting as necessary.
