Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and execution of technical solutions for intricate, multi-domain engineering initiatives.
- Contribute to the planning and timeline development for engineering projects.
- Oversee non-engineering aspects of projects, including team management and budget oversight.
- Evaluate and translate client specifications and may serve as the main point of contact for customer agreements.
- Assess system trade-offs and propose effective, scalable solutions.
- Formulate strategies and roadmaps for system deployment.
- Direct the rollout of strategic, high-complexity programs and align deployment across multiple sites.
- Manage key relationships with external vendors and partners as needed.
- Investigate emerging system concepts and develop detailed implementation plans.
- Design, adapt, and deploy systems that fulfill both client and organizational requirements.
- Produce technical designs compliant with internal procedures, industry regulations, and client-specific standards.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Address and resolve highly complex technical challenges.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, contractors, and internal departments to ensure alignment.
- Propose improvements and modifications to existing systems.
- Define annual department objectives, establish performance expectations, and conduct regular evaluations and feedback sessions.
- Ensure achievement of departmental goals and key performance indicators.
- Interpret and analyze technical data and system performance metrics.
- Perform calculations related to tolerances, physical dimensions, and thermal and structural performance.
