Responsibilities
- Identify avenues for increasing revenue and collaborate with Account Directors or Client Directors to shape and advance these initiatives.
- Design and implement pricing and compensation strategies that enhance profitability while delivering client value, consulting AD/CD as needed.
- Oversee end-to-end commercial operations for assigned accounts, with senior support for high-level or delicate issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting on financials, contract adherence, media spend, and unbilled items for both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with AD/CD to assess financial outcomes, pinpoint efficiency improvements, and convert insights into actionable plans.
- Serve as the main point of contact for routine commercial matters within the portfolio, escalating only when complexity or sensitivity requires senior input.
- Lead regular client check-ins, independently managing standard commercial conversations and escalating only when necessary.
- Foster strong connections with key client representatives, including procurement teams and commercial leads.
- Collaborate with AD/CD to guide internal teams on commercial strategy and contribute to client-facing content.
- Take the lead in negotiating client contracts with legal support, balancing favorable terms with relationship integrity.
- Assist AD/CD in contract compliance reviews, coordinating with compliance teams to supply required records.
- Perform initial commercial assessments and revisions of contracts and related documents.
- Ensure all contractual agreements are executed, properly filed, and centrally accessible, and regularly remind regional teams of their obligations.
- Lead the development and negotiation of commercial proposals for pitches, supporting AD/CD on more complex bids.
- Support AD/CD in cultivating a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Offer consistent coaching, direction, and feedback to Analysts and Managers handling shared accounts.
